ATCO Ventures Signs Strategic MOU to Advance EdgeWorks Opportunities in Poland

Our Story

ATCO Ventures, the venture-building and investment platform of ATCO Ltd., recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PELTER Sp. z o.o., establishing a collaborative framework to explore opportunities for the commercialization, localization, deployment, and scaling of ATCO EdgeWorks in Poland and potentially across Europe.

The agreement was signed during the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce, Poland, one of Central and Eastern Europe’s largest defence and security events, where Canada is serving as the 2026 Lead Nation.

ATCO EdgeWorks is a deployable edge infrastructure platform that delivers secure computing, communications, cybersecurity, monitoring, and operational control capabilities in environments where traditional infrastructure is unavailable, limited, or unreliable. Designed as a dual-use technology, EdgeWorks supports defence, government, critical infrastructure, industrial, and remote operations applications.

PELTER will explore serving as a market development and commercialization partner for EdgeWorks in Poland.  Potential areas of collaboration include identifying customer opportunities, supporting procurement and sales activities, facilitating government and municipal pilot projects, and assisting with deployment initiatives that may help establish reference installations within the Polish market.

“Europe is making significant investments in resilience, infrastructure modernization, energy security, and operational readiness,” said Kyle Koss, President, ATCO Ventures. “This MOU is an important step in building relationships with respected Polish organizations that share our interest in strengthening critical infrastructure and advancing practical, deployable solutions. Through EdgeWorks, we see an opportunity to bring together Canadian innovation and local expertise to support emerging infrastructure and security needs.”

This collaboration reflects a shared interest in evaluating opportunities that align with PELTER’s strategic priorities while strengthening cooperation between Canadian and Polish companies focused on resilience, critical infrastructure, civilian protection, and technology innovation.

The MOU is non-binding and does not constitute a commercial agreement, joint venture, procurement commitment, or deployment obligation. Any future initiatives will be subject to further evaluation, commercial discussions, regulatory considerations, and the execution of definitive agreements between the parties.
